Do you want more traffic to your web site? If you are like most webmasters, you probably do. In fact, if you were to visit Internet marketing or webmasters' forums, you will see that generating traffic is an issue of major concern to many webmasters. There is a simple reason for this - this is because there more visitors that a web site gets, generally speaking, the more revenue it will earn. Writing articles is not difficult. All you need to do is pick subject, one related to your business, and write a few hundred words on that topic. Your article should not a sales pitch, but rather should contain some useful and interesting (perhaps educational) information for readers. One of the most important parts of the process is choosing your article title - try to choose one that includes keywords that people search on, but is also enticing enough for people to want to read.

Once you've written you article, you can then submit to article directories. There are hundreds of different article directories, and there's no reason why you can't submit to as many you like. In fact, if you want to get the maximum return from each article, you will want to get as widely circulated as possible, and hence may wish to consider using some article submitter software so as to quickly submit to hundreds of article directories.

As a final word, I need to tell you the main reason why many people fail at article marketing. The key thing is that only very occasionally will a single article produce big results. Most of the time, one article will help boost your traffic only a little bit. If you only write one article, and only submit to a handful of article directories, you should not expect much return on your effort. If you want big results from article marketing, you should try to make it a regular ongoing activity, and get each of your articles as widely circulated and submitted as possible.
