Article Marketing Resources

Did Yahoo cross the line with a feature article on starting salaries for college grads?

In my opinion they did. First the so-called article is filled with links to online universties who must be paying Yahoo a fee. Second the salaries are completely unrealistic for entry level jobs. No college graduate without years of experience is going to land a marketing manager job for $80K. http://education.yahoo.net/degrees/articles/featured_preparing_for_entry_level_jobs.html I like Yahoo, but believe this highly deceptive article is below them.

  1. Do you really believe everything you read on the ineternet? I don't think most people do. At least I hope they don't. There's always a one in a million shot that someone could land that $80k job, but more than likely its not true. Hey, its just an article.
  2. Show me a high school teacher that makes $60000 a year and I'll show you the only high school teacher who doesn't complain about not getting paid enough. Maybe this is for a high school teacher in San Diego or something. I know the same job as mine in San Diego makes roughly 40% more due to the huge difference in price of living.
  3. LOL those things are such bullshit. They made me think a business degree would get me 30,000 a year. God I hate those people.
